I'm in heavy duty rehearsals for The Swan right now. It's at a strange point in the rehearsal process, because we are still stopping for notes in between each scene and I'm having a hard time focussing. We open soon and I'm getting a bit nervous and I'm losing the freshness I once had for the character. I think there comes a time in the rehearsals where I feel like I'm really "acting" and it is frustrating as hell. Sometimes I'm afraid of becomming too close to the character, because it's hard to shed it afterwards, which makes sleeping at night a difficult thing. But ahh....acting...there is some reason I do it. I know I love it, but it can be darn difficult sometimes....we'll see what happens tonight. more later on this.
